Barbara DeLaughder, MS, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC is a dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with over 10 years of experience in the healthcare field. Currently, Barbara focuses solely on providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care. With a deep passion for supporting individuals with mental health challenges, she specializes in the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety, while also caring for individuals with a wide range of other mental health conditions.


Most recently, Barbara has honed her expertise in community mental health settings, where she has developed a strong understanding of the unique needs of diverse populations. Her holistic approach to care combines evidence-based practices with a patient-centered focus, creating an environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to manage their mental health.


She began her academic journey at Capital University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Biological Sciences. Driven by a passion for healthcare, she then pursued her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) through the Second Degree Accelerated Program at Mount Carmel College of Nursing.


Furthering her education, Barbara earned her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, from The Ohio State University. Building on her expertise, she went on to obtain a Post-Master's Degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, expanding her knowledge and skills to address mental health concerns in the clinical setting. Barbara is dedicated to providing thoughtful, individualized treatment plans that foster recovery, stability, and overall well-being.
