Kat is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing since 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Science in Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton. She is currently under supervision until 2026. Kat enjoys making multidimensional connections within the world, building relationships, and guiding individuals through their personal and interpersonal challenges.
Kat has ten years of experience working in higher education and a community mental health agency, where she served a diverse adult population. Her treatment experience includes working with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief, career exploration, trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, boundary setting, and change management.
Kat's counseling style is integrative, and the modalities she most frequently uses are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Existential Therapy. She is an advocate for continuous improvement, holistic wellness, and helping people reach their full potential.
