Paul has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University, a Master's Degree in Psychology from Jacksonville State University, and received his Master of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati. He began his therapeutic career as a Behavioral Science Specialist while serving on active duty in the US Army, receiving an Honorable Discharge. His experience continued as a public mental health therapist as well as an Employee Assistance Program therapist.  Additionally he has experience in the inpatient care hospital setting.

His therapeutic approach consists mainly of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy and Behavioral Therapy, all delivered with cultural and individual sensitivity, meeting clients where they are and appreciating where they came from. Primary age range for therapy is 16 years old and up. He has helped those experiencing anxiety, depression, comorbid conditions and couples as well.
